Oahu scored 10 runs in the fifth inning to break open a tie game to win its 3rd consecutive Hawaii State AJA Baseball Tournament with a 21 – 7 win over Hawaii Island.  Tournament Most Outstanding Player Kevin Matsumoto got Oahu started with a solo home run over the centerfield fence and two innings later, Keola Domingo ripped a two-run double to stake Oahu to a 5 – 1 lead.  Hawaii Island stormed back in the top of the fifth inning led by Ridge Hoopii-Haslem’s two-run home run to left field to tie the game.  In the bottom of the fifth, Oahu sent 16 batters to the plate aided by six walks and two hit batters to take a 10-run lead.  Chevas Numata added the final exclamation point with a two-run home run to left in the 7th inning for Oahu.  Matsumoto finished with a .667, 5 runs scored, 4 RBI and four extra base hits.  Blane Hokama had 3 hits and 3 RBI, Lanson Yamamoto had 3 hits and Keola Domingo drove in 3 runs for Oahu.  Shannon Camero led Hawaii Island with 3 hits.
