4-Hit Day For Sumner Leads Oahu AJA Baseball Sheridan Past Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa

• Kale Sumner gave Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa fits, as he bagged four hits in Oahu AJA Baseball Sheridan‘s 23-5 victory on Thursday. Sumner doubled in the first, homered in the second, doubled in the second, and singled in the third while collecting 9 RBI.
• Oahu AJA Baseball Sheridan grabbed an early lead. Oahu AJA Baseball Sheridan scored on a double by Kale Sumner in the first inning, a single by Reid Matsushima in the first inning, a home run by Sumner in the second inning, a double by Gavin Oyadamori in the second inning, a groundout by Eric Lum in the second inning, a double by Sumner in the second inning, a error in the second inning, a triple by Kevin Matsumoto in the second inning, and a single by Oyadamori in the second inning.
• Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa took an early lead in the first inning. Michael Nagamine singled on the first pitch of the at bat in the first inning, scoring one run.
• Oahu AJA Baseball Sheridan evened things up at three in the bottom of the first inning. Oahu AJA Baseball Sheridan scored one run when Matsushima singled with zero outs in the first inning.
• Oahu AJA Baseball Sheridan took the lead for good with 12 runs in the second inning. In the second Sumner homered deep over the 400 ft mark in centerfield off of Jon Yashiro, driving in three runs, Oyadamori doubled off of Yashiro, driving in two runs, Lum grounded out, scoring one run, Sumner doubled off of Yashiro, driving in three runs, there was an error, scoring one run, Matsumoto tripled off of Yashiro, driving in one run, and Oyadamori singled off of Yashiro, driving in one run.
• Lum earned the win for Oahu AJA Baseball Sheridan. He threw two innings, allowing one run, two hits, striking out one, and walking one. Yashiro took the loss for Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa. He went two innings, surrendering 15 runs, and 11 hits.
• Oyadamori started the game for Oahu AJA Baseball Sheridan. He tossed two innings, giving up four runs, seven hits, striking out one, and walking zero.
• Oahu AJA Baseball Sheridan had 23 hits in the game. Blaine Hokama, Sumner, Matsumoto, Oyadamori, Rylen Kuboyama, Lanson Yamamoto, Zachary Fujimoto, and Matsushima each collected multiple hits for Oahu AJA Baseball Sheridan. Sumner and Hokama each managed four hits to lead Oahu AJA Baseball Sheridan with Sumner a triple shy of the cycle.  In addition, Sumner collected 9 rbi.
• Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa collected ten hits. Nagamine, Grant Yamaguchi, and Jonathan Sakurai each collected multiple hits for Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa. Nagamine led Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa with three hits in three at bats.
