#3 Waialae moves on to the Super Round of the Oahu AJA Baseball Championship Tournament against #2 Waipahu in a Best of 3 series with games at the Ala Wai scheduled for Wednesday (3/1) 7pm, Thursday (3/2) 7pm and If Necessary, Sunday (3/5) 1pm.
The Super Round winners advance to face each other in a Best of 3 Championship Round with games at Hans L’Orange scheduled for Wednesday (3/8) 7pm, Thursday (3/9) and If Necessary, Sunday (3/12) 1pm.
The Oahu AJA Baseball Champion Tournament winner will represent Oahu against champions from Kauai, Maui & the Big Island in the Hawaii State AJA Baseball Championship Tournament at Hans L’Orange on April 8 (Saturday) and at Les Murakami Stadium on April 9 (Sunday).

Oahu AJA Baseball Waialae Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning For Victory Over Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa
- Oahu AJA Baseball Waialae took the lead late and defeated Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa 9-8 on Sunday. The game was tied at three with Oahu AJA Baseball Waialae batting in the bottom of the sixth when Chad Itokazu induced Brandon Kon to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.
- A five-run lead in the seventh inning was just enough for Oahu AJA Baseball Waialae to hold off Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa for the victory. Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa scored four runs in the failed comeback on a single by Nicholas Tasaka in the eighth, a double by Grant Yamaguchi in the ninth, and a fielder’s choice by Jonathan Sakurai in the ninth.
