Congratulations to Waialae for its 4th victory in a row with a 12-6 win over Pearl City last night. With the win, Waialae moves back into a tie for 4th place with Manoa and Pearl City remains in 3rd place. Also congratulations to McCully and Waipahu for two wins this week and to Mililani, Manoa and Ewa for their wins as well.
We have one more game remaining on the week 9 schedule as Waialae looks to remain hot tonight against Sheridan at CORP. A Waialae win moves them into sole possession of 4th place and will knock Sheridan out of playoff contention. A Sheridan win will keep its playoff hopes alive and will secure at least a #2 seed for Waipahu and a bye into the championship tournament.
Week 10 is the final week of the season for Ewa, Manoa and Mililani. All three teams need wins to further strengthen its playoff hopes. With games pitting Waipahu and Waialae, Manoa and Ewa, Pearl City vs. McCully and two games between McCully and Waialae, the playoff chase is heating up!
