McCully rallied to score 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning to beat Pearl City 5 – 4 after allowing Pearl City to take the lead by giving up 3 runs in the top of the 9th inning. It was a pitching duel for the 1st 8 innings as McCully starting pitcher Nolan Kometani gave up 1 unearned run in 7 innings while Pearl City starting pitcher Cory Yuh gave up 3 runs in 8 innings. Pearl City tied the game in the 9th inning at 3 – 3 on Chris Loo’s clutch 2 RBI 2 out single and scored the go ahead 4th run as Todd Jinbo’s hustled to leg out a single to deep short. McCully rallied to win the game in the bottom of the 9th as Bryce Marcoullier’s 2 out soft liner to left with the bases loaded was dropped for an error, allowing the tying and winning runs to score.
