Congratulations to Waialae (10-4), second team to qualify for the championship tournament with its win tonight over Sheridan (8-5), 9-3. Waialae also moves into a points tie with Waipahu for first place but Waipahu owns the head to head tiebreaker.
Tyler Nitahara & Mark Okano homered in the Waialae win.
Wednesday night features two games: Ewa vs. Manoa and Waipahu vs. Pearl City. Ewa and Pearl City need to win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. A Manoa win moves them into sole possession of fifth place and a Waipahu win moves them one step closer to clinching the top seed in the championship tournament.
