Game One of the best of 3 series will be Sunday, March 6, 1 p.m. at Hans L’Orange with Waipahu the home team against Waialae. Game Two will be Wednesday, March 9, 7 p.m. at Hans L’Orange and the “if necessary” Game Three will be Thursday, March 10, 7 p.m. at Hans L’Orange.

Waipahu pitcher Kale Kaalekahi struck out 7 while only walking 1 (the 1st batter of the game) in his complete game performance to lead #1 Waipahu to a 10 to 2 win against #5 Manoa. Kaalekahi stranded 5 Manoa runners while giving up only 2 runs in the 3rd inning when Manoa collected 4 hits to tie the game. Waipahu was led by 3 hits from centerfielder Jordan Oshiro and leftfielder Derek Costigan. Landon Nakata, Chevas Numata, Zach Kometani and Kramer Aoki all added 2 hits each. Manoa had 3 hits from second baseman Russell Doi with first baseman Reyn Nagamine chipping in with 2 hits.
