Oahu AJA Baseball Ewa Defeats Oahu AJA Baseball Mililani After Late Game Single, 9-5

  • Oahu AJA Baseball Ewa and Oahu AJA Baseball Mililani volleyed the lead six times on Sunday, but Oahu AJA Baseball Ewa came out on top for a 9-5 win on Sunday at Hans.
  • Oahu AJA Baseball Ewa finally managed to grab the lead after a strong third inning. Oahu AJA Baseball Ewa scored on an RBI single by Matthew Murakami off Raymond Sugihara, scoring Brandon Tanaka.
  • Josh Arakaki had two extra-base hits for Oahu AJA Baseball Ewa. He singled in the first inning, tripled in the fourth inning, and doubled in the sixth inning.
  • A bright spot for Oahu AJA Baseball Mililani in the defeat was Waylen Sing Chow, who allowed only one run while striking out six.
  • Sing Chow reached base four times in the game for Oahu AJA Baseball Mililani. He singled in the third and seventh innings and tripled in the ninth inning.
