- Waialae got things started in the first inning when Kyle Watase doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
- McCully knotted the game up at one in the top of the second inning. Mason Sugahit a solo homer.
- McCully took the lead for good with three runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth Troy Kakugawa tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs and Colby Ho‘s sac fly scored one run for McCully .

- Davin Morita took the loss for Waialae . He surrendered four runs on six hits over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one.
