Manoa AJA 2025-26 and Waipahu AJA 2025-26 tied 2-2 on Tuesday at Hans L’Orange Park – Baseball Field.
Manoa AJA 2025-26 got on the board in the bottom of the third inning after Bryson Nakamura singled down the left field line, and Casey Isa doubled to center field, each scoring one run.
Waipahu AJA 2025-26 tied the game in the top of the seventh thanks to a fly out by Chevas Numata, and a walk by Jase Kaneshiro.
JR Bunda stepped on the bump first for Manoa AJA 2025-26. The starting pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking two. Shaun Kiriu opened the game for Waipahu AJA 2025-26. The starting pitcher gave up eight hits and two runs over eight innings, striking out four and walking two.
Nakamura and Isa were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Manoa AJA 2025-26. Leadoff hitter Tanner Kagimoto led Manoa AJA 2025-26 with three hits in four at bats.
