Waipahu AJA 2025-26 couldn’t keep up with Kaneohe AJA 2025-26 and fell 12-0 on Sunday at Hans L’Orange Park – Baseball Field.
Kaneohe AJA 2025-26 jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Jensen Park singled, scoring one run, Aalona Amimoto drew a walk, scoring one run, Conner Lopes drew a walk, scoring one run, Marc Oshiro drew a walk, scoring one run, and Travis Terayama singled, scoring two runs.
Kaneohe AJA 2025-26 added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Seamus Yoneshige walked, Lopes singled, and Jordan Nakayama singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.
David Torigoe led things off on the hill for Waipahu AJA 2025-26. The starter gave up eight hits and nine runs over five innings, striking out five and walking eight. Kelly Meguro stepped on the bump first for Kaneohe AJA 2025-26. The hurler gave up five hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out three and walking one.
Derek Costigan and Tyler Hanzawa were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Waipahu AJA 2025-26 while hitting back-to-back. Waipahu AJA 2025-26 turned one double play in the game.
