Kaneohe climbed into a tie for 6th place with Ewa and a potential spot in the Oahu AJA Championship playoff by defeating Ewa 6 to 5 in a thriller at frigid CORP. In the bone chilling night, in a back & forth game, Kaneohe played small ball with 3 bunt hits and squeeze plays among their 12 hits to earn their 3rd straight win and longest winning streak in years. Kaneohe pitcher Jordan Sumida relieved Aaron Kapeleila in the 9th inning with no outs & 2 runners on base. After a sacrifice bunt and an intentional walk to load the bases, Sumida retired the next two batters without allowing a runner to score for the well earned save.
