MOST VALUABLE PLAYER

Drayton Ito, Oahu (Sheridan Midas)

Drayson Ito of Oahu (Sheridan Midas) was presented the Kurt Suzuki Most Valuable Player Award by Maui AJA Baseball’s Board Member Kary Ann Nagata.

Drayson Ito of Oahu (Sheridan Midas) was voted the Most Valuable Player Award as the lead off hitter, got on base 10 times in the Tournament (4 in 1st game & 6 in the 2nd game), stealing bases and distracting the pitcher & fielders, in addition to his Tournament leading 5 rbi, Also batting 4 for 7 to just miss out on the Batting title (Award winner Kauai’s Allen Mundon was 4 for 6), and playing flawless defense in centerfield, running down several deep fly balls to help lead Oahu (Sheridan Midas) to the Championship.
