In the 2nd game of the Ewa vs Waipahu doubleheader @ Hans L’Orange, Ewa defeated Waipahu 7 to 5 in the scheduled 7 inning game behind the pitching of Landon Yoshikawa, Brandon Yamamoto and Ryne Miyamoto and 3 rbi from catcher Shawn Saito. After falling behind 3 to 0, Ewa rallied with a huge 6 run rally in the 3rd inning, then held off Waipahu’s rallies to deny Waipahu pitcher Cruz Hatanaka his 6th win. Ewa pitcher Ryne Miyamoto pitched out of a bases loaded jam in the 7th and final inning to earn the save.
