Pearl City beat Ewa 12 to 11 in the 1st Playoff game @CORP. Pearl City’s Chris Loo drove home Kip Masuda with the winning run in the bottom of the 9th inning with 2 outs. Pearl City gave up 8 unearned runs on 5 errors but rallied to win. Pearl City led 2 – 0 early, watched Ewa jump ahead by scoring 8 unanswered runs then scored 8 runs of their own to take the lead 10 to 8, gave up the lead by letting Ewa score 3 runs and rallied with 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th to win the game.
Pearl City moves on to play McCully on Thursday (3/13) 7pm @CORP in the Oahu AJA Baseball Championship Tournament. Ewa is eliminated.
