Sheridan AJA 2025-26 Rally Defeats Waipahu AJA 2025-26

Sheridan AJA 2025-26 trailed by as many as five, but came back to defeat Waipahu AJA 2025-26 on Sunday at CORP 1, 12-5.

Asher Ginoza collected three hits in four at bats in the win. Ginoza tripled in the third inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the sixth inning.

Waipahu AJA 2025-26 got on the board in the top of the first inning after Tyler Hanzawa grounded out, and Zach Kometani hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.

Waipahu AJA 2025-26 added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Kaimana Paiva tripled down the right field line, Moku Paiva grounded into a fielder’s choice, and Sheridan AJA 2025-26 committed an error, each scoring one run.

Sheridan AJA 2025-26 tied the game up in the bottom of the fourth thanks to three singles. Sheridan AJA 2025-26 tied the game at five on a single by Jarred Yara.

Sheridan AJA 2025-26 flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the sixth, scoring six runs on two hits to take the lead, 11-5. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Sean Tanaka that drove in two.

Randyn Rios earned the win for Sheridan AJA 2025-26. The starting pitcher gave up six hits and five runs (one earned) over six innings, striking out three and walking two. Jarren Yamashita took the loss for Waipahu AJA 2025-26. The pitcher went five and one-third innings, allowing eight runs on nine hits, striking out one and walking five. Joey Maekawa threw one inning of scoreless ball for Sheridan AJA 2025-26 in relief. The pitcher gave up two hits, striking out one and walking none.

Sheridan AJA 2025-26 accumulated 11 hits in the game. Yara, Ginoza, Quinn Kamibayashi, Tanaka, and Austin Chung each drove in two runs for Sheridan AJA 2025-26. Chung led Sheridan AJA 2025-26 with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting 12 walks for the game. Sheridan AJA 2025-26 turned one double play in the game.

Logan Salcedo went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Waipahu AJA 2025-26 in hits. Paiva, Kometani, Hanzawa, and Paiva each drove in one run for Waipahu AJA 2025-26. Waipahu AJA 2025-26 didn’t commit a single error in the field. Justin Protacio had the most chances in the field with five.

Sheridan AJA 2025-26 will travel to Manoa AJA 2025-26 for their next game on Thursday.
