Mother Nature continues to kick our behind as a five-minute downpour Sunday afternoon wiped out four games on the schedule.
This week, we hope to have our full complement of 8 games with Ewa and Waipahu looking to finally start their season after having all of their scheduled games wiped out. Meanwhile, undefeated Mililani will look to gain sole possession of first place this week with two big games against McCully and Waipahu. Sheridan will also look to remain undefeated with a game Thursday against Kaneohe and Waialae looks for its first win as they face Manoa on Sunday before a rematch of last year’s championship game against McCully on Friday.
Happy New Year! Thanks to all those who have written or called to express their support of the board’s efforts to make up the games and revise the schedule. As I told you, our job is a lot easier than having to fix and prep the fields and it’s also easier than having to play four games in a week. But the kind words are appreciated.
