Week 6 Recap & Week 7 Update

Congratulations to McCully on its 11-4 victory last night over Mililani and snapping its 6 game losing streak in the process.  With just over half the season in the books, five teams are within two points of each other for the top of the standings:

  1. Waipahu 6-1, 12 points
  2. Kaneohe 6-3, 12 points
  3. Waialae 6-3, 12 points
  4. Manoa 5-4, 10 points
  5. Sheridan 5-4, 10 points
  6. Ewa 3-6, 6 points
  7. McCully 3-6, 6 points
  8. Pearl City 3-6, 6 points
  9. Mililani 2-6, 4 points

This week is a huge week as teams start to really battle for playoff position.  Kaneohe has games this week against fellow first place teams Waipahu and Waialae.  Manoa looks to make a move up the standings with a big game against Waialae.  Finally, Ewa, McCully and Pearl City look to break away from each other with big games this week.

On another note:  I did get an e-mail from Ala Wai Field’s park director reminding us to lock all gates including the field and dugouts.  The locks were not secured this week.

Good luck in your games this week and have a good weekend.
