Congratulations to Mililani and Sheridan for its wins this week as the Oahu AJA Baseball League kicked off its season. But the real winner was Mother Nature which claimed six games this week and I thank all of you for your patience as we reschedule games. Also, thanks to Colin Tanabe for his work on getting Hans ready Thursday night and for keeping me updated on the condition of the field.
Coming up in week two, first place Mililani looks to hold it’s lead in the standings with games against Ewa on Sunday and Manoa on Thursday. Sheridan, also in first place, will face defending champion McCully on Sunday and Waipahu on Monday in a tough two-game week.
With Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this week, we’ll have games on Sunday, Monday and Thursday. Enjoy your holidays and be safe.
