Waipahu pitcher Shaun Kiriu was sharp in a 8 to 2 win over Ewa, throwing only 77 pitches, striking out 5 while walking none in a complete game performance, outdueling Ewa pitcher Adam Inaba who also threw a complete 7 inning game in a game that took only 1 hour and 45 minutes. Chevas Numata hit his league leading 3rd homerun in the 5th inning. With the win, Waipahu clinched the regular season’s 1st place and will receive a bye into the Double Elimination Oahu AJA Championship Tournament and play the lowest seed entering the Tournament.
