Yup, CORP was unavailable tonight as the field was unplayable and the afternoon rains left no doubt. The field was flooded with huge ponds at shortstop, 2nd base and around the pitching mound and will be unplayable tomorrow.
Playoff games are being scheduled based on fields availability as Hans is also being used by HPU. The plan is to restart playoffs on Wednesday, March 12 when we have both Hans and CORP available. The second round games will be played on Thursday @Hans and CORP when McCully and Waipahu will face their opponents who won Wednesday. The winners from Thursday will meet Friday night at CORP for a spot in the championship game.
Sunday, March 16 is elimination day with two elimination games and the winner advancing to the championship game on Monday, March 17. The If game will be Tuesday night, March 18.
If Wednesday is rained out, the tournament will shift to a single elimination tournament format in order to complete the playoffs in time.
