Oahu AJA Baseball Kaneohe Falls In Back-And-Forth Affair Against Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa

• Oahu AJA Baseball Kaneohe and Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa passed the lead back-and-forth on Sunday, but eventually Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa prevailed 14-7. The game was tied at two with Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa batting in the top of the third when Easton Torigoe singled off of Seamus Yoneshige, driving in one run.
• Oahu AJA Baseball Kaneohe collected nine hits and Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa had 21 in the high-scoring affair
• Oahu AJA Baseball Kaneohe took an early lead in the first inning. After Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa scored three runs in the top of the sixth, Oahu AJA Baseball Kaneohe answered with three of their own. Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa scored when Michael Nagamine singled off of Seamus Yoneshige, driving in one run, Yoneshige induced Easton Torigoe to ground out, but one run scored, and Colin Sakamoto singled off of Yoneshige, driving in one run. Oahu AJA Baseball Kaneohe then answered when Travis Ogimi singled off of Austin Sloan, driving in one run and Bryson Kihara singled off of Sloan, driving in two runs.Oahu AJA Baseball Kaneohe evened things up at two in the bottom of the second inning. Kelsey Kochi drove in one when he singled in the second inning.Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa scored five runs in the seventh inning.Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa‘s big inning was driven by a stolen base by Nicholas Alarcio, a single by Nagamine, a double by Torigoe, and a single by Sakamoto.Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa took the lead for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Sakamoto singled off of Yoneshige, driving in one run.
• Chad Itokazu earned the win for Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa. He went five innings, giving up four runs, six hits, and striking out seven. Two relievers helped Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa close out the victory. Sloan threw three innings. Sloan recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa. Yoneshige took the loss for Oahu AJA Baseball Kaneohe. He tossed six innings, allowing nine runs, 14 hits, striking out two, and walking one.
• Colin Kaneshiro, Eric Akamine, and Kochi each collected multiple hits for Oahu AJA Baseball Kaneohe. Kochi, Akamine, and Kaneshiro each collected two hits to lead Oahu AJA Baseball Kaneohe.
• Sakamoto, Alarcio, Nagamine, Jonathan Sakurai, Russell Doi, Grant Yamaguchi, and Torigoe each collected multiple hits for Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa. Torigoe led Oahu AJA Baseball Manoa with four runs batted in. He went 2-for-4 on the day.
