Oahu AJA Baseball Waipahu had trouble keeping up with Oahu AJA Baseball McCully in an 18-5 loss on Thursday.
Oahu AJA Baseball McCully took an early lead in the first inning. Mason Suga singled on the first pitch of the at bat in the first inning, scoring one run.
After Oahu AJA Baseball McCully scored one run in the top of the seventh, Oahu AJA Baseball Waipahu answered with one of their own. Oahu AJA Baseball McCully scored when Jacob Wong hit a sacrifice fly to drive in a run. Oahu AJA Baseball Waipahu then answered when James Okano induced Kramer Aoki to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.
Oahu AJA Baseball Waipahu evened things up at one in the bottom of the first inning. Alika Kuraoka drove in a run when he walked with the bases loaded.
