Mililani woke up on Thursday in sole possession of 1st place as they opened the 2013-14 Oahu AJA Baseball Association season by defeating Pearl City 8 to 6 in a slight drizzle of a cold night at CORP. Mililani rallied in the bottom of the 7th inning to score 5 runs on 5 hits as time ran out. Catcher Brandon Henderson had 3 hits and Waylen Sing Chow got on base in every bat via the walk or hit by pitch for Mililani. Kip Masuda and Chris Loo paired hits for Pearl City.
